STORE POLICY
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
All orders will be dispatched within 3-7 working days of placement of order with our preferred courier partners. Even though delivery time is stipulated and not in our ultimate control, we expect the customer to receive the ordered product within 3-5 working days of dispatch.
Monday to Friday are considered business days except for public holidays.
Delivery delays can occasionally occur around public holidays or sometimes because of unforeseen circumstances, but we do our best to provide timely deliveries to all our customers.
Once our system processes your order, your products are inspected thoroughly to ensure they are in perfect condition.
After they pass through the final round of quality checks, they are packed and handed over to our trusted delivery partner.
ORDER TRACKING
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with the details of the tracking number and the courier company that is processing your order.
You can track the status of your package 24 hours after your order is dispatched from our warehouse. Please visit the courier partner's website and enter the AWB number to track the current location of your shipment and the expected date of delivery.

CANCELLATION
Once we receive the order, we try to ship it out within 24 working hours. If you wish to cancel the order, drop us an email at necessitestudio@gmail.com within 24 hours.
Orders, once shipped, cannot be cancelled.
CANCELLATION BY NÉCESSITÉ
Please note that there may be certain orders that we cannot accept/fulfil and must cancel. We reserve the right at our sole discretion to refuse or cancel any order for any reason. Some situations that may result in your order being cancelled include limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies or errors in product or pricing information, or problems identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may also require additional verification or information before accepting any order. We will contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order. If your order is cancelled after your credit card has been charged, the said amount will be reversed back in your Card Account.
The customer agrees not to dispute the decision made by Nécessité & accepts Nécessité’s decision regarding the cancellation.
Shipping Charges
We offer free shipping on all orders.
For shipping in India, we accept all major debit & credit cards (including Mastercard, Visa & American Express), Net Banking options across major banks, and Cash on Delivery on selected pin codes. Please note that COD incur extra charges of ₹100.

The prices you see in your final invoice include the cost of packaging and delivering the product to you in optimum condition, inclusive of GST applicable. For the breakdown of taxable amount and GST applied, please check the invoice of your order.
We might run promotions and offers on one or multiple products and different times. The price of the product is stagnant and promotional discounts and bundle offers may be provided if and when deemed appropriate and necessary. We are at your discretion to discontinue or change a specific promotion or offer when we deem appropriate.
Cash On Delivery (COD)
If you do not prefer an online mode of payment, you can pay cash on delivery. Remember to select the method of payment as ‘Cash on Delivery’ during Checkout.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS
It is our earnest effort to deliver the best quality products.
As a policy, no exchange or returns are offered on any product delivered in the best of condition.
Your purchase is eligible for return or replacement only if it meets the following conditions:

If an incorrect product was delivered to you or the wrong product is delivered.

If the product you receive has a genuine quality or manufacturing defect or damage.
However, if the product is wrongfully delivered (the product doesn’t match the item in the order confirmation) or has a genuine quality/manufacturing defect, we are open to extending a full refund or re-fulfilling your order. The right product will be delivered to the customer in 7 working days. In such cases, if the customer requires a refund, the same will be processed in 7 working days.
Please note that all our products are handmade by experienced artisans, one piece at a time, making each piece unique. Therefore, a slight variation in color tone, shape, or size may occur between products that are not regarded as a defect and will not be eligible for return or replacement.
Given the nature of our products, we reserve the sole discretion to provide resolution as we deem fit. Every return or exchange request is treated as an individual case. We cannot offer refunds if we’ve been given an incorrect or incomplete shipping address or if there are three failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency, or the recipient refuses the package.
HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN?
If your purchase meets our return criteria as stated below, please email us at necssitestudio@gmail.com within 2 days of delivery with the following information:

Specify the reason for the return, and in case of defective or incorrect product, please send us an image of the item at necssitestudio@gmail.com
Unfortunately, we will not consider any emails or images sent after 2 days of the delivery.
If there is a genuine defect in the product, we'd be happy to exchange your product with a replacement or a different product of the same value or refund your order amount within 7-10 working days after the product is picked up from the given address.
If, due to certain circumstances, if we are unable to provide you with a replacement against your ordered product, then we will notify you and thereafter will process your refund; credit of the paid amount will reflect in the original mode of payment within 7-10 business days. In the case of COD (Cash on Delivery) order, the refund will be made only in the form of a credit coupon of the same value.
If you find that the package has been tampered with, please do not accept the item and hand over the package back to the delivery person before signing the POD(Proof of Delivery).
Nécessité reserves the right to inspect the products before processing returns, exchanges, and refunds.
The customer bears all returns/exchange courier charges to our warehouse; on delivering your replacement, Nécessité will cover shipping charges.
No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted for the following items:

Custom made products/Products personalized to your requirement

Products on sale
Are sales or promotional items eligible for return/ refund?
Any promotional sales items or orders are not eligible for return or refund. Other related details will be announced from time to time.
Wrong Product Delivered
In the rare case of a wrong product delivered, you need to inform us along with product images within 48 hours of receiving the parcel, and after authorizing it we will replace it with the correct product.
*In the case of COD orders, the shipping + COD charges are non-refundable.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
International orders are eligible for extra shipping charges levied at the checkout once you enter your delivery address.
Nécessité is not liable to pay any duties or taxes if the customer refuses to pay for any international order.
Duties & Taxes for international orders are not included in your order. Any duties or charges are directly paid to the shipping agency; they are levied only once the product enters the country and has to be paid by the customer.
